The availability of Blackberry mobiles in India started in the year 2007. Couple of big mobile service providers started selling Blackberry mobiles in India with their special tariff plans. However, the use of Blackberry mobiles was opposed by the government due to the code that was not supplied to the government by RIM.
However, the now the Blackberry mobiles are easily available in the country and all the mobile service providers are selling the phones. The Blackberry mobiles are now becoming popular in India.
